Olmoti Crater at 3,088 meters above sea level is a beautiful volcano crater in Ngorongoro highlands with wide array of plant species, wild animals, spectacular landscapes and water streams that create Munge River and Munge water fall. Olmoti crater is situated near the Ngorongoro crater within Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Some of wildlife seen in Olmoti includes zebra, eland, bushbuck, buffaloes, baboons and birds.
Olmoti crater is suitable for walking within the crater rim covered by forest vegetation and inside the crater enjoying varieties of wildlife and landscapes while escorted by the armed ranger.
