Mount Meru

Mount Meru centered at the heart of Arusha National Park it cover 4,565 meters high. With steep slopes and impressive volcano peak, Mt Meru is the second highest peak with spectacular view to the surrounding.

With fertile slopes and natural habitat the Mt Meru area dominated by different vegetation zones include grassland, mountain forest, moorland and alpine desert. The climbing mostly takes 4 to 3 days. The trekking conducted all year round though the best time is from June to March then slightly from November to December.
