Marangu Route 6 Days Kilimanjaro Climbing
Day 1: Picked from hotel after breakfast and drive to Marangu Gate. Upon arrival begin walking for almost to 4 hours then reach Mandara Hut located 2,750m above sea level for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast ascend the lush forest and savannah land to reach Horombo Hut situated at 3,489m for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: This day is totally dedicated for acclimatization to enhance climbing success.
Day 4: After breakfast begin trekking to reach Kibo Hut at 4,703m above sea level. Today trekking takes 6 to7 hours enjoying the Alpine desert between two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Upon arrival to Kibo hut get enough rest for midnight trekking to Uhuru peak.
Day 5: At midnight begin trekking to conquer the Uhuru peak passing through rhino point, stella point then Gillman’s Point 5681m before reaching to Uhuru peak 5895m. After reaching to Uhuru peak around early morning then descend down to Kibo hut for breakfast.
Day 6: After breakfast descend to Marangu gate then followed by certificate awards before meeting your driver for transfer to the hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.
