Katavi National Park

Katavi National Park is located to the western circuit offering remarkable experience in remote wilderness. Katavi national park area is largely covered by grassland plains which becomes swampy wetland during rainy seasons, miombo woodland and scattered acacia vegetation.

Katavi National Park is also known for two lakes the Katavi and Chada which fed by Katuma River, is among the best place for game viewing due to large population of hippos and crocodiles.
