Arusha National Park is famous park close to Arusha city covering 550sq km of area. The park offer attractions as momela lakes, ngurdoto crater, mount meru, waterfalls and wildlife species as black and white colobus monkey, zebra, elephant, buffaloes, giraffes, baboon, bushbuck, waterbuck, warthog etc.
Momela lakes comprise various small lakes that found inside the park supporting birdlife include flamingoes, pelican, goose etc. Ngurdoto crate is small caldera found inside the park along the highland region inhabited with variety of wild animals. Apart from that Mt Meru the second highest peak in Tanzania found in Arusha National Park offering off beaten adventure climbing while enjoying spectacular scenery.
Activities conducted in Arusha National Park include game viewing, canoeing in lake momela, walking tour and climbing Mt Meru.
